1. No Personal Data Harvesting
Unlike traditional contractor referral websites, SolarPanelCalculator.org does not require you to input your name, phone number, physical address, or email to run any calculation. All mathematical evaluations run directly in your client browser.
2. Local Storage & URL Parameters
When you use the "Share Calculation" feature, the input values (such as monthly kWh and peak sun hours) are encoded directly in the URL query string so you can easily send the link to friends or contractors. We do not store these values on private databases.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We may use privacy-preserving, anonymous analytics to understand general page usage without tracking individuals across third-party websites.
